Steph-Nora Okere, born on April 26, 1974, is a Nigerian actress and scriptwriter. She gained recognition in Nollywood with her debut in 1994 and has since made significant contributions to the industry. In 2015, she was appointed Vice President of the Script Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN). Her accomplishments were further acknowledged when she received the Special Recognition Award at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016. Okere was born in Owerri, Imo State, and later moved to Lagos for her basic education. She returned to Imo State for her secondary education and completed her BSc in Theatre Arts at the University of Ife. Before entering Nollywood, she was active as a stage actress.
