Biography
Nkiru Sylvanus Riches, born on April 21, 1985, in Osisioma, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, is a renowned Nigerian actress and politician. She is best known for her role as Ble-Ble in the 2002 film A Cry for Help, which catapulted her to fame. Over the years, she has featured in over two hundred Nollywood movies, earning nominations for Best Actress of the Year at the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards and Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. Sylvanus attended Ohabiam Primary and Secondary School in Aba, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. She furthered her education at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, graduating with a BSc degree in Mass Communication. In addition to her acting career, Sylvanus has been involved in politics. In 2011, she was appointed as the Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha. She later became the Special Adviser on Public Affairs. Her political career has been marked by her advocacy for women's rights and youth empowerment.
