Caroline King (born 24 July 1963) is a Nigerian actress, thespian, and presenter, widely recognized for her role as "Jumoke" in the TV series Everyday People. Known for her "motherly role" in TV dramas, she has appeared in various soap operas and films, including The Gods Are Still Not To Blame and Dazzling Mirage, a 2014 drama directed by Tunde Kelani. Born in Lagos to Edo-born parents, Carol attended St. Soweto Primary School Lagos and Awori Anglican Comprehensive High School Lagos before earning a Diploma in Insurance from Ahmadu Bello University and a bachelor's degree in Christian Religious Studies from Lagos State University. Currently residing in Lagos State, she is married to Captain Kolawole King and has two children from this marriage, as well as one child from a previous marriage. Her children are Ikemefuna Nsolo, Abdulqudus King (Qudus), and Sola King. Carol's acting career began with an audition for a radio drama titled I Need To Know and she gained prominence through her role in Everyday People. Her work includes stage plays, dramas, and films such as Pasito Dehinde and Dazzling Mirage, and she was honored with the "African Youth Role Model Award" in 2009 for her contributions to the film industry.
