Agaba Joan

Joan Agaba is an award-winning actor, director, and scriptwriter based in Kampala, Uganda, with five years of progressive experience in the acting industry. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and is celebrated for her professionalism, innovation, and teamwork. Joan’s notable performances include her lead role in The Torture, which earned her the “Best Actress” award at the Uganda Film Festival and FESTCAB in Burundi, as well as a nomination for the AMVCA Best Actress category. She also gained recognition for her supporting roles in 94 Terror and the TV series Mistakes Galz Do, where she plays “Kate.” Currently, she stars in Lailah, a feature film that has earned her another nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Uganda Film Festival.
